Myanmar train back in time

In early Jan I left my footprints on this golden land, and took a train on a trail of rich history.

During my Myanmar trip early this Jan, I could tell it was different from any other asian countries. It’s not just all women put on special tree juice on their faces, or monks lining up on the street. That special taste of Myanmar was in the air.

On the first day I went to the train station to get my ticket for the Rangoon circle train. The hand-written receipt was a highlight. The train basically took you around Rangoon in a circle, allowing you to see how they live their lives. The train, full of locals, was a bit too noisy. But the scenes probably couldn’t be found elsewhere.

It was a really nice experience. But make sure you got a copy of the train map and check out the schedule before getting aboard.
Good to take on the first day to get the first impression of Myanmar, with the local people and the sunset being there. This is the thing you can’t miss in Myanmar!

Here is a peak into Myanmar which I recorded during my train ride.
